Trees And Rizomas

This project grew from my fascination with trees — not only their presence above ground, but the hidden networks below. Rizoma is an exploration of roots: tangled, resilient, and interconnected. They mirror our own invisible ties — to memory, to place, to each other.

The works are created with oil pastels, a medium whose layered softness and intensity echo the textures of bark and soil. Each stroke becomes a root in itself, branching and intertwining, capturing the quiet strength of what lies beneath — the unseen structures that hold life together.
